Day Two

Breakfast

After my adventure the previous night, I really need to kill tiredness and a hangover, first thing that comes to mind is a Bacon Sandwich, followed about 5 seconds later by the whole vegetarian thing that I am doing.

Some quick tweeting and I have the following excellent suggestions, all things I have done before:

  • Fried Egg Sandwich
  • Egg and Beans on Toast

Sadly I was so late for work, all I had was coffee ;-)

Lunch

A platter of sliced cucumber, spiced aubergine paté and oat biscuits, followed later by the same but with hummus instead of paté.

Dinner

Got home to a ready made spinach, red pepper and goats cheese quiche that I added salad and home made vinaigrette too.

Summary

So far things are going well, I've mostly eaten things I would have eaten before anyway so everything is really familiar. I enjoyed trying the aubergine paté.

I did find it difficult to go past a fishmongers in the evening and not buy / eat everything they had for sale, but then I love fish…

Finally, I spent most of the evening trying to find "sosmix" which I need to follow a burger recipe. Does anyone know what brand of this Whole Foods sell?
