Day Four
Breakfast
What's breakfast? Oh, right, coffee.
Lunch
Went to a thai pub in Cambridge, have been here previously and had yummy vegetable pad-thai but everyone is raving about the green curry so I get one of them. The curry and rice were nice, but as far as I am concerned, crunchy vegetables just don't work in curries. It needed some sweet potato or something soft to make it work.
On-wards to the Cambridge beer festival and I decide to try the falafel and hummus wrap which was surprisingly good, the best thing I've eaten in a couple of days.
Dinner
Went to Wagamamas (really not my choice) and had some vege gyoza which had all the wrong vegetables in them and some vege soup which was reasonably nice (as far as soup here goes).
Summary
Steep learning curve in finding which asian food is good and which isn't when no meat is involved but I am getting there. Disappointed I didn't get to make a return to the excellent cheese stall.
Much alcohol and a closed cheese stall were nearly leading me towards the meat stall, but it was shut so I was saved from any hard choices (I would have gladly had more falafel, also shut).
